Life Has Taught Me

Happy Sunday my people! Hope we all attended service? How did it go?
You know those times when you feel like you can't seem to forgive those who have wronged you and when you finally do, you somehow always remember the wrong deed and you are enraged that you still remember, meaning you didn't forgive?
They say Forgive and Forget but when you do not forget, it means you apparently did not forgive.

But truth is, it's not in our place to "forget". We can't possibly "delete" or "erase" selective events from our memory. It's in God's place to make us forget and by forgetting, it means making us not feel the pain any more. He(God) takes away the bitterness you might feel so whenever you remember, you feel no pain or disgust.
It's just like someone you partnered with to execute a business deal, decides to double cross you. Now the bible says, forgive always. I say always because Jmesus said 7 times 70, which if you ask me, people can't possibly wrong you that much nau...you are not the only person in the world.
As i was saying, now you forgive this person, after sometime, this individual comes to you asking that you partner with him/her for another deal. Question is, in all honesty, won't you remember the last deal? in as much as you have forgiven the person?
Wishing you all a fruitful week ahead. For those going to their various working place and those at home, let us all make the most out of it, yea.

Lots of Love!
Oma.

  1. Oma,the pain doesn't go away ,it just hurts less. For every time they show their face,it pops up and reminds you of what they did to you but God with the instrument of time heals all wounds eventually.
